At Fifields Construction, we place great importance on the safety and awareness of our employees, particularly when working on construction sites. As a proud member of the Devon County Council's 'Green Accord' scheme, we have been recognized for our outstanding efforts in sustainability and recycling by achieving 'Superior Status'.

Electric Vehicles-

At Fifields, we take pride in our green initiatives. Majority of our office employees drive either electric or hybrid vehicles. This not only allows us to reduce our carbon footprint, but also enables us to contribute towards the global efforts to reduce emissions. Whenever we price a project or travel to see a client, we are making a conscious decision to prioritize sustainability and the environment.

Sustainable Site Cabins-

Our site cabins in Exeter and Taunton are equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting that consumes less power. Additionally, we use PIR (Passive Infrared) detection technology to switch off the lights automatically when no one is present inside the cabin. To power the lighting and other electrical appliances, we rely on a solar power system that harnesses the sun's energy and reduces our carbon footprint.

Approved Waste Dealers-

At Fifields, we only use approved waste dealers who have a high rate of recycling.

Paperless on Sites-

As part of our efforts to minimize paper waste and adopt eco-friendly practices, we have transitioned to a paperless system on all our sites. We now rely on digital tools and technologies to manage our operations and communications, reducing our reliance on printed documents and paper-based processes. This not only helps us minimize our environmental impact but also allows us to work more efficiently and effectively.

Our Office has Solar PV!

Our construction office in Exeter has solar PV installed to reduce our utility bills, carbon footprint and environmental impact.
